Managing Director - Oil Palm Plantation and Mill

About the role

The Managing Director will lead the oil palm plantation and mill operations, ensuring effective management, growth and profitability of the client’s 3,000‑hectare estate and processing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual production plans and budgets for both plantation and mill, driving achievement of targets.
• Oversee all plantation activities including site clearing, nursery establishment, planting, harvesting and maintenance.
• Manage production costs, implement cost‑reduction programmes and monitor efficiency in mill and plantation.
• Ensure infrastructure and equipment are functional and support strategic expansion programmes.
• Prepare monthly operational reports for the Board and oversee sales, marketing and inventory control.

Required profile

• B.Sc or B.Eng in Mechanical/ Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, Forestry or Plantation Management.
• 12‑15 years total experience with at least 5 years in senior management at an FMCG or food‑related company.
• Proven experience in palm oil mill and plantation management.
• Strong leadership, training and performance management capabilities.
