About the role
The Maintenance/Utility Personnel will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and water systems for our facilities in Port Harcourt and Marina.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply pipes, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Inspect systems for leaks, blockages, and faults, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Install and service water heaters, pumps, storage tanks, and related equipment.
- Clear blocked drains, sinks, toilets, and wastewater pipes using appropriate tools.
- Read plumbing drawings and specifications, conduct routine inspections, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Estimate materials, tools, and labour for jobs and maintain equipment in good condition.
- Respond to emergencies, report major faults, and keep records of work performed.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Degree in a related field.
Required skills
- Pipe installation and repair.
- Water heater and pump installation/maintenance.
- Drainage cleaning and blockage removal.
- Interpretation of plumbing drawings and specifications.
