Maintenance Training Coordinator

About the role

The Maintenance Training Coordinator will design, deliver and monitor training programmes for HBM Nigeria’s cement plant maintenance teams. Working closely with plant managers and subject‑matter experts, you will ensure that training content is consistent, safe and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, develop or source training programmes to meet specific maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with SMEs and the Continuous Improvement Programme (CIP) on instructional design.
• Create training aids such as manuals, handbooks and models.
• Deliver training through classroom, virtual and on‑the‑job coaching methods.
• Design assessment tools and track training effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate employee training records and manage training logistics.
• Coordinate with external providers and manage off‑site training activities.
• Support budget management and upkeep of in‑house training facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in training or maintenance functions.
• Good knowledge of HBM Nigeria safety standards, advisories and procedures.
• Strong understanding of business processes within an industrial setting.
• Excellent coaching and facilitation abilities.
