Maintenance Technician

About the role

Ascentech is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to keep its facilities in optimal condition. You will be responsible for routine upkeep, minor repairs and supporting office set‑ups across its Lagos site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting tasks.
• Inspect facilities regularly, address wear and tear, and resolve safety concerns.
• Assist with office setups, furniture assembly and event preparations.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs when needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Undertake additional facility‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a maintenance, handyman or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and building maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Physically fit, able to lift, climb and perform manual tasks.
• Minimum SSCE (High School Certificate); vocational training is an advantage.
