About the role
Ascentech is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to keep its facilities in optimal condition. You will be responsible for routine upkeep, minor repairs and supporting office set‑ups across its Lagos site.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting tasks.
- Inspect facilities regularly, address wear and tear, and resolve safety concerns.
- Assist with office setups, furniture assembly and event preparations.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs when needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Undertake additional facility‑related tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a maintenance, handyman or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and building maintenance.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Physically fit, able to lift, climb and perform manual tasks.
- Minimum SSCE (High School Certificate); vocational training is an advantage.
