Maintenance Supervisor – CNG Fuelling Station

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities at our CNG fuelling station in Lagos. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance across the facility.
• Develop shutdown plans, work programs and coordinate equipment inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Monitor equipment performance, reliability metrics and minimise downtime.
• Lead a team of technicians, contractors and third‑party service providers, assigning tasks and tracking progress.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching and identify training needs.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of failures and implement reliability‑centered and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Track KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR and recommend upgrades to improve asset efficiency.
• Manage the maintenance budget, control expenditures and oversee spare‑parts inventory and procurement.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of maintenance experience in the oil & gas or energy sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage contractors.
• Strong understanding of safety, regulatory compliance and operational risk management.
• Excellent analytical skills for equipment performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
