Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

The Maintenance Coordinator supports the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring safe and efficient operations of the offshore maintenance department in Nigeria. The role focuses on material acquisition, inventory control, and administrative support while adhering to Operations Integrity Management Systems (OIMS) and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify material needs, source required items and services, and initiate procurement processes.
• Assist the Maintenance First Line Supervisor and Planner in scheduling and execution, emphasizing safety, health, environment and compliance.
• Manage return authorizations, purchase order assignments, packaging and shipping for material returns, repairs or exchanges.
• Update daily work order confirmations based on supervisor feedback and ensure job packs are ready for execution.
• Conduct material and contract invoice reconciliation, including receipt verification.
• Support overall effectiveness of controls within the assigned scope.

Required profile

• Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent in Mechanical, Materials, Corrosion, Offshore/Marine, Structural, Metallurgy or Petroleum Engineering.
• A BSc in engineering or related sciences is acceptable when combined with verifiable maintenance experience.
• Proven experience in maintenance activities within an offshore or marine environment.
