Machinery Sales Executive

About the role

MAGMA CONSTRUCTION LTD, a civil engineering company based in London with operations supporting construction and infrastructure projects, is hiring a full-time, on-site Machinery Sales Executive in Port Harcourt. The executive identifies and pursues sales opportunities for construction and civil engineering machinery, builds and manages a pipeline of prospects and carries out regular client visits.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with contractors and project managers
• Prepare and present quotations and product demonstrations
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms in line with company policies
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams so that product information, delivery and after-sales support are accurate and timely
• Track market trends, prepare periodic sales reports and contribute to sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and customer relationship management skills, with the ability to close deals and maintain long-term client partnerships
• Knowledge of construction or civil engineering machinery, equipment specifications and basic technical features, or willingness to learn them quickly
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Willingness to work on-site in Port Harcourt and visit client locations regularly

• Market research, analysis of sales data and use of CRM or basic sales tracking tools
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client visits, follow-ups and reporting
