Lounge Operations Manager (Abuja)

About the role

The Lounge Operations Manager ensures a premium lounge in Abuja runs smoothly from the moment the lights come on until the last guest departs. This behind‑the‑scenes position guarantees that every technical system, supply chain and service provider is ready and operating without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the venue for each opening, confirming that lighting, air‑conditioning, sound, screens and all related systems are functional.
• Oversee procurement and maintain optimal inventory levels for drinks, glassware, fuel, cleaning supplies, uniforms and décor.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, schedule repairs, replacements and upgrades proactively.
• Maintain up‑to‑date health, safety and licensing documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with external contractors such as sound engineers, HVAC technicians and other service providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management within hospitality, events or a similarly fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational abilities with an eye for detail across multiple moving parts.
• Ability to anticipate problems and resolve them before they affect guests.
• Calm under pressure and decisive when quick decisions are needed.

Required skills

• Familiarity with venue systems including lighting, HVAC, audio‑visual and related equipment.
