Light Vehicle Driver

About the role

The Light Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating company light motor vehicles to transport personnel and items. The role includes routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, and ensuring deliveries are completed on time while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned light motor vehicles in a safe, efficient manner following all traffic laws and company procedures.
• Perform daily safety inspections, basic maintenance checks, cleaning, lubrication, and refuelling as required.
• Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report any maintenance or repair needs to the Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
• Support loading and unloading tasks while promoting workplace safety.
• Carry out additional transportation‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Valid Class D or Class E driver’s licence.
• Maximum qualification of OND.
• At least 5 years of corporate driving experience.
• Good communication skills and understanding of road safety rules.
• Basic problem‑analysis and solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
