Licensed Pharmacist - Lekki & Ikeja

About the role

St. David's Pharmacy Nig. Ltd., a retail pharmacy focused on patient care, health promotion and disease prevention, is hiring a Licensed Pharmacist to work full time on site at its Lekki and Ikeja locations in Lagos. The pharmacist dispenses prescription and over-the-counter medicines, verifies prescriptions and counsels patients.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications and verify prescriptions for accuracy
• Counsel patients on proper drug use, possible side effects and lifestyle changes that support wellness
• Manage inventory and storage conditions, and supervise pharmacy support staff
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals
• Take part in health promotion activities, document interventions and help improve pharmacy services

Required profile

• Current license to practice as a pharmacist in Nigeria and registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria
• Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology, therapeutics and medication safety
• Experience with pharmacy management systems, record keeping and basic computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Prior retail pharmacy experience in Lagos is an advantage; integrity and professionalism are required
