Java Backend Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to enterprise‑level applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java‑based services and applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in existing Java systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define system requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Core Java and J2EE.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate (or similar frameworks).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Comfort working with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and experience in an Agile environment.
