IT Support Officer (Abeokuta)

About the role

Royal Gate Group, a diversified Nigerian conglomerate, is looking for a reliable and proactive IT Support Officer to join its Abeokuta office. The role involves providing first‑line technical assistance, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth daily technology operations across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and monitor network connectivity and basic server operations.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and data backups.
• Keep accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions.
• Support IT security practices and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1‑2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to work on‑site in Abeokuta.
