About the role

The IT Officer is a key technical resource in the Technology sector, responsible for keeping the organization's digital ecosystem robust and efficient. The role ensures operational continuity by managing complex IT infrastructures, protecting sensitive data and supporting users, covering both hardware and software environments and applying security measures against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Administer and maintain servers so critical services stay available and perform well.
• Manage network infrastructure for secure and reliable connectivity.
• Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including maintenance, upgrades and resource allocation.
• Implement and monitor security protocols to protect information assets and prevent unauthorized access.
• Facilitate data management to keep information accurate, intact and accessible.
• Provide technical support and user assistance to staff on IT resources.
• Carry out routine maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of professional experience in information technology roles.
• Experience in IT resource management and information security strategies.
