Investment Sales Executive (Stockbroking)

About the role

Le Finesse is an investment management company offering tailored services to individuals, businesses and corporate clients. As Investment Sales Executive, you drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients, promoting stockbroking and investment products, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new retail, high-net-worth, corporate and institutional clients, and convert prospects into account holders
• Promote equities trading, portfolio management, dematerialisation, inter-member transfers, share identification, transmission and financial advisory services, and cross-sell to existing clients
• Follow up clients regularly, answer enquiries and keep them informed of market developments
• Guide clients through account opening, liaise with Operations, Compliance and Stockbroking teams, and ensure transactions go through authorised channels
• Achieve assigned sales, client acquisition, account activation and revenue targets, and report on performance to the Cluster Head
• Maintain records of prospects, client interactions and sales activities, and comply with KYC, AML and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
• Sales, client acquisition or relationship management experience, preferably in stockbroking, asset management, banking or financial services
• Working knowledge of equities trading, investment products and capital markets
• Progress toward or interest in certifications such as CIS or CFA Level I is an advantage

Required skills

• Understanding of stockbroking operations and investment products
• Familiarity with KYC, AML and regulatory compliance in securities trading
• Proficiency in CRM tools, sales reporting and office software; familiarity with trading platforms is an advantage
• Numerical and analytical skills, and strong negotiation and closing ability
