Investment Analyst

About the role

Creditville Group is hiring a full-time Investment Analyst in Lagos, Nigeria, in its financial services business. The role covers daily tracking and reporting of bank inflows and outflows, reconciliations, and regular reports for management and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate all bank inflows to the team by e-mail at least twice daily and book them in Instafin within the approved turnaround time.
• Process all outflows, including matured and pre-liquidation, monthly/quarterly and upfront interest payments, within the approved turnaround time.
• Prepare and share the team's performance report by e-mail each day.
• Reconcile bank statements against Instafin and the investment portfolio, and reconcile outflows against Instafin and the portfolio.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure all inflow and outflow transactions are processed completely.
• Document exceptional approvals online weekly, and prepare the maturity updates report, ALCO report, AML report for CBN purposes, and the inflow/outflow report for RM incentives monthly.
• Keep reports accessible to other departments on request, with HOD approval, and carry out other duties assigned by the HOD.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience; professional certification or qualifications are an added advantage.
• Diligent, proactive, detail-oriented, and an excellent oral and written communicator.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word and Teams) is essential.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and strong numeric skills.
