Inventory Supervisor

About the role

TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc is hiring an Inventory Supervisor based at the Head Office in Lagos. The role works closely with regional teams, Supply, Distribution, Plants and Depots, conducts monthly stock-taking across locations and ensures compliance with stock reconciliation and inventory control procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in all company safety activities and follow the Golden Rules and STOP Cards.
• Coordinate and take part in monthly stock-taking to verify physical stock at all installations.
• Prepare and analyse the monthly stock variance report for all plants, and review and follow up regional and depot feedback on material variance reports.
• Resolve stock-related issues raised by regions, depots and plants, and review stock losses and gains.
• Carry out monthly general ledger account analysis and reconciliation, and prepare the quarterly stock reconciliation report with audit adjustments aligned with SEC reporting.
• Prepare quarterly PAC reporting for the unit and review inventory movement postings across plants, identifying incorrect parameter settings and coordinating corrections.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of inventory balances and liaise with the SAP Support Team to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits and coordinate responses to internal and external audit requests.
• Work with the SAP Support Team to understand the Inventory Module processes under Harmonie and support end users on inventory management and stock procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or Management Accountant.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
