Internal Control, Risk & Compliance Manager (Onsite, Ibadan)

About the role

The Internal Control, Risk & Compliance Manager will support the Group Head in coordinating and implementing the Group's internal control, enterprise risk management, compliance and ICFR programmes. This full‑time onsite role is based in Ibadan and involves leading a team of technical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the department’s annual work plan, KPIs and performance reporting.
• Supervise the Risk Management & ICFR Lead and Internal Control Officer, allocate assignments and review outputs.
• Oversee risk registers, treatment plans, internal control assessments and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage the ICFR programme, review documentation, RCMs and control testing results, and ensure remediation of deficiencies.
• Prepare consolidated internal control, risk and compliance reports and support engagements with auditors and regulators.
• Lead risk awareness and internal control training programmes and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CRMA, CISA or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience in internal control, risk management, compliance or internal audit.
• Minimum 4 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of COSO internal control, COSO ERM and ICFR frameworks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with reporting tools for risk and compliance dashboards.
