Instrumentation Technician – Manufacturing

About the role

The client, a leading player in the agricultural sector, is looking for an Instrumentation Technician to ensure reliable operation of plant instrumentation and control systems. You will be responsible for maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and support efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain control and instrumentation systems for manufacturing processes.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with instrumentation and control equipment.
• Analyze performance data to drive process improvements and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimise manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• B.Sc in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on instrumentation maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, instrumentation and P&ID drawings.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and maintenance procedures.
