Inside Sales Representative - West Africa

About the role

Max ASP is recruiting an Inside Sales Representative to support its client's growth in the West African market. The client is a multinational machine-building company based in Switzerland, and Max ASP runs a team of 35 inside sales representatives across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. The role covers both hunting (new business in new markets) and farming (expanding existing business) across Nigeria and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on quotes sent to current clients to move conversations forward and close deals
• Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and tailor recommendations to client needs
• Serve as a key point of contact for ongoing sales conversations, addressing concerns and questions about quotes and products
• Maintain accurate records of follow-ups, conversations and outcomes in the CRM
• Collaborate with internal sales and back-office teams to deliver an excellent client experience
• Deepen understanding of client objectives to offer relevant, value-driven solutions

Required profile

• Fluent English, spoken and written; French is a strong advantage for francophone West African markets
• Experience with B2B clients, ideally in Nigeria and the wider West African markets
• Background in sales, marketing, customer support or another client-facing role
• Ability to manage several conversations, stay organised and work to targets
• Self-motivated and disciplined approach to remote or hybrid work
