About the role
The Information Technology Officer will join the IT team of a mortgage bank to ensure smooth operation of the institution’s back‑end systems. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop practical skills in a banking environment while supporting critical technology infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the IT unit to maintain and support the bank’s operating systems and back‑end services.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Help ensure system reliability and security in line with banking standards.
Required profile
- Minimum HND or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Residency in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State (or willingness to work on‑site in Marina).
- Good interpersonal skills and a trustworthy attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A+ certification or equivalent knowledge.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
