Industrial Plant Operations Expert – Foundries, Fabrication & Machining

About the role

O.T. OTIS Engineering Ltd. is looking for a senior Industrial Plant Operations Expert to lead technical due‑diligence audits and drive plant rehabilitation projects for heavy‑engineering, foundry, fabrication and machining facilities. The role combines executive team leadership with hands‑on engineering to restore under‑performing assets to world‑class standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑disciplinary audit teams (mechanical, electrical, automation, industrial safety) to perform forensic technical audits and capacity evaluations of large‑scale manufacturing assets.
• Translate audit findings into business cases and bankable reports for corporate leaders, government bodies and investors.
• Design and oversee phased rehabilitation and preventative‑maintenance programmes for foundries, CNC machining centres, forging equipment and assembly lines.
• Manage plant improvement projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and compliant with international manufacturing benchmarks.
• Provide consulting on facility layout, material handling, supply‑chain integration and lean manufacturing workflows.
• Advise on risk, capital‑expenditure (CapEx) and operational‑expenditure (OpEx) forecasting to support repair‑vs‑replace decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in industrial plant operations, forensic auditing and capacity assessment of heavy‑engineering facilities.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale plant rehabilitation or modernization projects.
• Strong communication skills to advise senior stakeholders and institutional investors.
