Indirect Procurement Executive

About the role

The Indirect Procurement Executive is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives across a portfolio of indirect sourcing categories, including MRO supplies, consulting, marketing, IT, telecom, financial and HR services, and office equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes.
• Research vendors, evaluate total cost and quality, and make recommendations.
• Source and develop suppliers, building mutually beneficial relationships.
• Develop strategic sourcing and purchasing plans to support profitability.
• Analyze spend, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and streamline procedures.
• Source and procure capital equipment and MRO supplies.
• Execute sourcing strategies for high‑spend, complex, and strategic categories.
• Ensure tactical execution of purchasing activities for routine needs.
• Identify company‑wide spend opportunities and manage complex projects from conception to implementation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand procurement needs and provide sourcing guidance.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain high service quality.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audit purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience in indirect spend categories.
• Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and influencing skills in a matrix environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or similar procurement software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP/RFI processes.
