Human Resources Officer – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Officer to lead recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR operations for our construction projects in Ibadan. The role will support a productive and engaging workplace culture while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Support performance management and appraisal processes.
• Organise employee training and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
• Handle employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
• Assist with compensation, benefits and payroll administration.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics.
• Promote employee engagement and organisational culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
• HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Competitive salary ranging from ₦300,000 to ₦600,000 gross per month.
