Human Resources Manager – Lagos

About the role

Gourmet Twist is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead people operations in its Lekki, Lagos location. The role is pivotal for building a high‑performance culture, ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws, and supporting business growth through effective HR systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organisational objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, promotion, and exit processes.
• Design and manage performance management and employee development programmes.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour legislation and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate training initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Monitor workforce planning and advise on organisational structure and staffing needs.
• Prepare periodic HR reports and deliver insights for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM or HRCI is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
