Human Resources Manager

About the role

Continental Lithium is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions for its mining operations in Jos, Plateau State. The role will oversee talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, compliance and employee engagement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Direct end‑to‑end talent acquisition and workforce planning for mine sites, processing plants, laboratories and offices.
• Manage the company‑wide performance appraisal system, payroll administration, salary reviews and employee benefits.
• Identify training needs, design annual learning schedules and monitor development program impact.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, mining regulations and internal policies; work with HSE teams on safety audits.
• Support employee welfare schemes, handle workplace relations and promote a high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SPHRi, PHRi) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience in mining, manufacturing, heavy industry, oil & gas or similar sectors preferred.
