Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the development and implementation of HR policies, structures and processes while handling day‑to‑day people management in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding for staff.
• Review, update and create HR policies, staff handbooks and SOPs.
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, discipline and conflict resolution.
• Oversee attendance, leave management and basic payroll coordination.
• Support performance management and simple review processes.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of generalist HR experience.
• Experience in a small‑to-medium or multi‑unit business is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage staff at all levels.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Discretion and sound judgement handling sensitive matters.
• CIPM, CIPD or similar qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
