Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for Aspom Travel Agency in Lagos, ensuring that recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning, compensation and compliance align with business goals. This role reports directly to the Managing Director/CEO and plays a pivotal part in shaping a positive organisational culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and systems.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding.
• Oversee employee relations, grievance handling and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes and support managers with improvement plans.
• Identify training needs, organise development programmes and support succession planning.
• Administer payroll, benefits and compensation structures while ensuring legal compliance.
• Prepare regular HR analytics and reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field.
• 2–5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
