Human Resources (HR) Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Human Resources Officer to join our expanding healthcare diagnostics organization in Abuja. The role involves managing the full spectrum of HR activities while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour legislation and supporting the company’s people strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment, from job posting to onboarding and talent pipeline management.
• Maintain accurate employee records, prepare employment letters, and manage HR databases in line with data‑protection rules.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee enquiries, resolve conflicts, and support disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Oversee performance appraisal cycles, track KPIs, and recommend development initiatives.
• Identify training needs, organise internal and external learning programmes, and evaluate training effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Act, employment regulations and statutory compliance.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
