Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead BBHH Media’s HR function in Abuja, shaping policies, recruitment, performance management and employee relations to support the company’s growth in the advertising and media sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and systems aligned with Nigerian labour law.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, from job description creation to onboarding.
• Design workforce plans and staffing structures based on business growth.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, probation and off‑boarding processes.
• Oversee performance appraisal and performance management systems.
• Monitor attendance, leave, employee welfare and workplace conduct.
• Organise employee training, professional development and capacity‑building programmes.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce analysis and management updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR administration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.
