Human Resource Manager

About the role

Sewa Assets Management Limited, an asset management and financial consultancy firm, is hiring a Human Resource Manager in Lagos to lead HR operations across its fintech subsidiaries. The role oversees the full employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with financial sector regulations and supporting a fast‑moving, technology‑driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Standardise core HR policies and grading frameworks across subsidiaries, track group‑wide workforce metrics, and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, NDPR data‑privacy standards, and CBN guidelines.
• Drive full‑cycle recruitment for technical (engineering, product, data) and non‑technical roles, design structured assessment processes, and manage learning and succession planning.
• Direct performance management cycles (KPIs/OKRs), oversee payroll, benefits administration, statutory remittances (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF), and handle employee relations.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or HR Business Partner role, preferably in fintech, financial services, or multi‑entity tech groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s/MBA is an advantage.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM or equivalent) is required.
