Human Resource Manager

About the role

Pazino Engineering & Construction Company (Pazino ECC) is a growing engineering and construction firm with interests in real estate, paint manufacturing, and travel & tours. The company is seeking a competent, experienced, and people‑focused HR Manager to own its human resources functions and support organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee integration.
• Design strategies for employee retention, engagement, motivation, and career development.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
• Establish and monitor performance management systems, KPIs, appraisals, and staff development plans.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Collaborate with management and departmental heads on workforce planning and organisational development.
• Identify training needs and coordinate relevant staff training programs.
• Monitor attendance, leave, punctuality, staff welfare, and other employee‑related matters.
• Provide management with HR reports, workforce insights, and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Promote a positive, professional, accountable, and high‑performance workplace culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in Human Resources management.
• Experience in real estate, construction, engineering, or property management is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR practices, and employee relations.
• Proven experience managing recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
