HR Personnel – Lekki

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Personnel to manage day‑to‑day HR operations for our legal practice in Lekki, Lagos. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll support and ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding and maintain a talent pipeline.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave administration and produce HR reports.
• Act as primary contact for employee relations, handle grievances, disciplinary matters and conduct exit interviews.
• Manage performance appraisal cycles, monitor probation reviews and support performance improvement plans.
• Ensure HR policies comply with the Nigerian Labour Act and internal procedures, maintaining confidentiality.
• Organise staff training programmes, keep training records and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Prepare payroll inputs, administer benefits and liaise with Finance on statutory deductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum three years of HR experience, preferably within a professional services or legal environment.
• Relevant HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, CIPD) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
