HR Officer – Human Resources

About the role

The HR Officer will support MP Infrastructure’s human resources function, handling day‑to‑day HR operations, recruitment, employee relations and compliance within a fast‑moving construction and real‑estate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HR administration including employee records, onboarding, transfers, promotions and exits.
• Support full‑cycle recruitment for construction manpower, from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
• Address employee inquiries, grievances, disciplinary matters and drive engagement initiatives.
• Provide accurate data for payroll processing and assist with benefits administration.
• Assist in identifying training needs, coordinating learning activities and employee development.
• Coordinate performance management processes such as goal setting, KPI tracking and appraisals.
• Help implement HR policies and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law.
• Maintain HR metrics, prepare reports on headcount, turnover and recruitment.
• Identify process gaps and contribute to HR system improvements.
• Report HSE incidents within 24 hours and participate in safety programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years progressive HR experience covering multiple functions.
• Experience in construction, engineering or real‑estate projects, especially high‑volume recruitment.
• Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• CIPM certification or membership is an advantage.

Required skills
