HR Manager

About the role

JobClave is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its people strategy, drive organisational performance and nurture a high‑performing culture across Nigeria. The role is hybrid, with four days in the office and one day remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Oversee performance management systems and employee engagement programmes.
• Manage learning and development initiatives to build skills and leadership capability.
• Handle employee relations, grievance processes and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws.
• Administer compensation, benefits and HR information systems.
• Provide HR analytics and insights to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Minimum 7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing HR teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
