HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources function at Kenex Konsults International in Port Harcourt. You will shape HR strategy, drive talent acquisition and foster a positive workplace culture within our hospitality & hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with business goals.
• Advise senior management on workforce planning, organizational development and HR best practices.
• Lead the HR team to deliver efficient services across recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment, from job advertising to candidate selection and onboarding.
• Design and manage performance appraisal processes, learning and development programs, and succession planning.
• Administer compensation, benefits, leave and attendance systems while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws.
• Maintain accurate employee records, prepare HR analytics reports and support compliance audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum two years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and Nigerian employment law.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities with a high degree of confidentiality.
