HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead all human‑resources activities for Trevi Group’s projects and offices in Algeria. This role ensures smooth employee lifecycle management, compliance with local labour laws, and effective support for both local and expatriate staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR operations for all Algerian sites, including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, employee relations and exit formalities.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing, attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, deductions and end‑of‑service settlements.
• Ensure full compliance with Algerian labour legislation, social security requirements and statutory obligations.
• Handle work permits, residence permits and visa processes for expatriate employees, coordinating with government and immigration authorities.
• Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files and documentation.
• Support manpower planning, recruitment drives and project mobilisation/demobilisation.
• Advise management on HR policies, disciplinary matters, grievances and labour‑law issues.
• Coordinate employee benefits, medical insurance and other HR administrative activities.
• Prepare regular HR, payroll and compliance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in construction, engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Algerian labour law and HR compliance.
• Proven experience managing work permits and expatriate administration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Fluency in English and French; Arabic is an advantage.
