HR Manager – Ikoba, Edo, Nigeria

About the role

The HR Manager will lead all human resources functions for a micro‑finance organization operating across 20 states in Nigeria. Based in Ikoba, Edo, the role ensures effective recruitment, staff welfare, performance management and policy implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding and maintain staff documentation.
• Implement HR policies and procedures and handle employee relations and disciplinary matters.
• Monitor attendance, leave and performance, and coordinate training and development programmes.
• Maintain confidential employee records and support workforce planning and organisational development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years proven experience in HR management or administration.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication abilities.
• Good understanding of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Experience managing large staff numbers is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using HR software and digital communication tools.
• High computer literacy.
