HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Lagos

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with business leaders in Lagos, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives. The role acts as a trusted advisor on talent management, employee engagement and performance improvement, ensuring HR policies are effectively implemented across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to design and execute HR strategies that support business goals.
• Provide consultancy on HR policies and procedures to managers and staff.
• Lead talent management activities including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
• Drive employee engagement programs to foster a high-performance culture.
• Manage employee relations issues, resolving conflicts and grievances promptly.
• Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics and deliver insights to inform business decisions.
• Assist change-management efforts and ensure smooth organizational transformations.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
• Contribute to HR projects such as compensation reviews, training programs and talent retention strategies.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in a strategic HRBP role.
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; master’s degree or HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.

• Analytical skills for interpreting HR data.
• Proficiency with HR systems and MS Office Suite.
