HR Business Partner (HRBP)

About the role

Jobberman is hiring a full-time HR Business Partner in Abuja. The role covers the full recruitment cycle, employee relations, training and reporting on HR metrics and HR-related expenses.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, especially contract preparation.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policy, practice and employment law.
• Keep the financial institution's policies and procedures up to date with current employment law.
• Conduct interviews and reference checks on applicants.
• Investigate disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Manage leave requests and administration.
• Plan and deliver training, including inductions for new staff.
• Update physical and digital personnel records.
• Prepare reports on HR metrics such as total hires per unit/department, and on expenses, expense budgets and other expenditures.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar industry or sector.
• Understanding of business understanding, succession and strategic management, employee/talent management, employee experience, change management, organisational development and data analytics.
