HR Business Partner – Film Industry

About the role

Filmhouse Cinemas Limited is seeking an HR Business Partner to support its growing cinema operations in Victoria Island, Lagos. You will act as a strategic HR liaison, ensuring talent acquisition, compliance, and people‑management processes run smoothly across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment for all functions, build talent pipelines and maintain a professional candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records, manage onboarding/offboarding, prepare offer letters and contracts, and support payroll inputs.
• Drive the monthly Performance Review process, provide tools and documentation for managers, and track probation, contract renewals and employee milestones.
• Support HR matters at cinema sites, assist with onboarding queries and ensure consistent application of HR policies across field teams.
• Maintain HR and ERP data integrity, generate regular reports for the Head of HR, and flag process gaps.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience in a structured, multi‑functional environment.
• Proven experience managing full recruitment cycles and building candidate pipelines.
• Strong HR administration skills, attention to detail and excellent written communication.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining quality and compliance.
