Housekeeper

About the role

H-Ville Consultancy is hiring a full-time Housekeeper in Lagos (Marina). The role covers keeping a home clean and tidy, handling laundry and linens, and reporting household issues.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust floors, furniture and household surfaces.
• Wash, iron, fold and organise clothes and household linens.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets and kitchen surfaces.
• Make beds and change bed linens regularly.
• Organise household items and keep rooms neat and orderly.
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly and dispose of waste properly.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items or shortages of cleaning supplies.
• Follow household instructions, keep matters confidential and perform other reasonable housekeeping duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a housekeeper, cleaner or domestic staff is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of household cleaning techniques and hygiene standards.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage time and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Honest, trustworthy, respectful of privacy and personal belongings, and willing to work in Lagos.
