Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our hotel team in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including changing linens and replenishing supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise rooms, corridors, stairways and public areas.
• Maintain bathroom cleanliness and report any fixture issues.
• Collect and deliver laundry, handle lost‑and‑found items, and support deep‑cleaning programmes.
• Record housekeeping activities, checklists and report maintenance defects promptly.
• Respond quickly to guest requests and assist other departments when needed.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow hygiene standards.
• Physically fit, able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Safe handling and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Basic record‑keeping and checklist management.

What we offer

• Monthly salary ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
