Home Tutor – Biology & Math (Lekki Phase 1, Lagos)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to provide one‑on‑one lessons in Biology and Mathematics for a secondary school student in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The role follows the British curriculum and supports the student at Basic 10 / SSS 1 level.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2 hours of tutoring per session on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5 PM.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the British curriculum.
• Explain core concepts in Biology and Mathematics, using examples and practical exercises.
• Assess the student’s progress and provide feedback to the parent.
• Maintain a safe and productive learning environment at the client’s home.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching Biology and Mathematics to secondary‑school students.
• Familiarity with the British curriculum for Basic 10 / SSS 1.
• Reliable, punctual and able to travel to Lekki Phase 1.
• Flexible to work the specified days and times.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge in Biology.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
