About the role

We are looking for a dynamic English Teacher to join a growing school in Abuja. The successful candidate will inspire young learners and deliver engaging lessons that build strong foundational English skills across elementary grade levels.

Key responsibilities

Teach English language to assigned elementary grades.
Deliver lessons in grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and creative writing.
Develop lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
Assess and monitor pupils’ academic progress.
Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Support students’ overall literacy development.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in English Language (English Education preferred).
Proven experience teaching at the elementary/grade school level.
Strong knowledge of English language concepts and teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for working with young learners.
