Headmaster – Lead Academic & Administrative Operations

About the role

Strauss Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic Headmaster to lead both the academic and administrative functions of its campus in Abuja. This full‑time, on‑site position will guide curriculum development, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure alignment with the school’s holistic education mission.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum design, instructional quality, and pedagogical innovation.
• Mentor, support, and evaluate teaching and support staff.
• Collaborate closely with parents, the school board, and community stakeholders.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, budgeting, and compliance with school policies.
• Promote the school’s values of character development, creativity, and practical skills.

Required profile

• Proven experience in curriculum development and educational leadership.
• Strong background in managing school administration and operations.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
• Experience working in diverse educational settings.
• Advanced degree in Education or a related field is highly desirable.
