About the role

The Digital Technology Teacher delivers engaging, practical lessons that equip secondary school students with essential digital skills, computational thinking, creativity, problem‑solving abilities, and responsible use of technology.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons covering computer fundamentals, digital literacy, coding, productivity software, internet safety, data handling and emerging technologies.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Integrate appropriate digital tools into learning activities and encourage real‑world applications of technology.
• Contribute to technology‑related projects, clubs, competitions and school events.

• Strong knowledge of current digital technologies and educational best practices.
• Effective classroom management and ability to create an inclusive, stimulating learning environment.
