Head of Strategic Enterprise Coverage – Energy & Finance

About the role

The Head of Strategic Enterprise Coverage will lead the acquisition and growth of large enterprise clients across Sub‑Saharan Africa, positioning Multigate’s Treasury & Trade Operating System as the core financial infrastructure for their treasury, payments, cash & liquidity management, FX and trade flows. Success is measured by securing anchor clients whose transaction volumes become foundational nodes in Multigate’s network.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and close strategic enterprise clients in the Energy (Oil & Gas) sector.
• Develop trusted relationships with CFOs, Group Treasurers, Heads of Finance and Treasury Operations leaders.
• Lead consultative sales of Multigate’s treasury, receivables, multi‑bank connectivity, supply‑chain finance, trade finance and FX solutions.
• Structure multi‑year infrastructure agreements and platform licensing deals.
• Maintain a 3–5× pipeline coverage and build relationships with 20+ enterprise finance executives annually.
• Drive onboarding of enterprise clients to route $5B+ of annual payment and FX flows through the platform.
• Expand vendor networks by enabling onboarding of 1,000+ suppliers per enterprise client where applicable.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise solution selling, especially complex treasury and multi‑bank environments.
• Deep strategic financial acumen with understanding of treasury management, cash & liquidity, FX and trade finance.
• Track record of securing $6M+ annual recurring revenue and managing contracts valued $300K–$1M.
• Ability to build executive‑level relationships with CFOs and treasurers.
• Experience handling large‑scale payment flows (> $500M) and cross‑border trade transactions.
