Head of Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Real Estate to drive the delivery of high‑profile development and construction projects. This senior leadership position will oversee projects from concept through handover, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple real‑estate development and construction projects from feasibility through completion.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, delivery strategies, timelines and programmes.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors and specialist consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards and risks, providing regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
• Oversee procurement activities, including consultant appointments, contractor selection and tender processes.
• Manage contract administration and commercial matters in collaboration with project consultants.
• Coordinate statutory approvals, regulatory submissions, permits and stakeholder engagement through project completion.
• Serve as primary client contact, building strong relationships and presenting updates to executive stakeholders.
• Support proposal preparation, tenders, bids and fee submissions, and identify new business opportunities in the sector.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.

Required profile

• Executive‑level professional with at least 10 years (120 months) of experience in development management, construction delivery and commercial management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex real‑estate projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Strong client‑facing skills with ability to manage expectations and resolve issues proactively.
• Experience working with government agencies, consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to support business development and pursue new market opportunities.
