Head of Project Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Project Management to lead the Project Management function across multiple EPC projects in Port Harcourt. The role oversees the entire project lifecycle from award to completion, ensuring disciplined planning, delivery control, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Project Managers across active EPC projects, maintaining consistent execution standards.
• Ensure robust project planning, baseline schedules, milestones, and resource loading.
• Monitor project profitability, cost tracking, and margin forecasting in partnership with Finance and Commercial teams.
• Establish and enforce strong governance frameworks, change‑order control, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coach, develop, and build a high‑performance project delivery culture among Project Managers and Engineers.
• Support senior leadership with project prioritisation, resource allocation, and high‑level client escalations.
• Deliver regular performance dashboards and data‑driven decision support to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 10‑15+ years of EPC, oil & gas or industrial project execution experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior project leadership role, preferably in Nigeria or similar markets.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven profit‑and‑loss responsibility.
