Head of Product – B2C

About the role

Renmoney Microfinance Bank is seeking a senior product leader to own the vision and strategy of its B2C retail ecosystem. Based in Lagos, the Head of Product will drive innovation across lending, banking, insurance, remittances and lifestyle services, ensuring the portfolio meets customer needs while delivering profitability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a product strategy that balances growth, risk and profitability across the entire ecosystem.
• Translate market opportunities into scalable roadmaps for lending, banking, insurance, payments and lifestyle solutions.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in product management, design, data and technology to deliver customer‑centric products.
• Champion data‑driven decision making, AI and automation to improve efficiency and experience.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with fintechs, telcos, insurers and other ecosystem players.
• Collaborate with risk, finance and collections to optimise pricing, yields and capital allocation.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators such as adoption, profitability, NPS/CSAT and revenue contribution.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product leadership experience, preferably in financial services, fintech or micro‑finance.
• Proven track record of scaling retail products and building ecosystem‑wide solutions.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and competitive dynamics in Nigeria.
• Experience leading high‑performing product teams and fostering an innovative culture.
